18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the ut -
ter most part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of As syria.

19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the des o late val leys, and in the holes of
the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a ra zor that is hired, namely, by them be yond
the river, by the king of As syria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also con sume
the beard.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nour ish a young cow, and two
sheep;

22 And it shall come to pass, for the abun dance of milk that they shall give he shall eat but -
ter: for but ter and honey shall ev ery one eat that is left in the land.

23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that ev ery place shall be, where there were a thou -
sand vines at a thou sand silverlings, it shall even be for bri ers and thorns.

24 With ar rows and with bows shall men come thither; be cause all the land shall be come
bri ers and thorns.

25 And on all hills that shall be digged with the mat tock, there shall not come thither the fear
of bri ers and thorns: but it shall be for the send ing forth of oxen, and for the tread ing of
lesser cat tle.

8:1 More over the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen
con cern ing Mahershalalhashbaz.

2 And I took unto me faith ful wit nesses to re cord, Uriah the priest, and Zech a riah the son of
Jeberechiah.

3 And I went unto the proph et ess; and she con ceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to
me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz. (THIS IS THE FULFILLMENT OF 7:14!)

4 For be fore the child shall have knowl edge to cry, My fa ther, and my mother, the riches of
Da mas cus and the spoil of Sa maria shall be taken away be fore the king of As syria. (re peat
of 7:16, fur ther prov ing the birth of Isa iah's son to be the ful fill ment of Is. 7:14!)

5 The LORD spake also unto me again, say ing,

6 For as much as this peo ple refuseth the wa ters of Shiloah that go softly, and re joice in Rezin
and Remaliah's son;
