COMMENT: YEHOVAH made promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of
both national prosperity and the "scepter" promise of eternal salvation to
               come through Yeshua the Messiah.

                                                                     8. Did Jacob (Israel) pass on

                                                                     did the birthright blessings

                                                                     cles 5:2.

                                                                     9. Did Jacob adopt Joseph’s
                                                                     two sons, Ephraim and Manas-
seh? Genesis 48:3-5. And did he pass on the birthright -- the material
promises -- to them? Verses 15-20.

COMMENT: The physical, material promises were passed from Jacob to
his son Joseph and his sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. (Originally there
were twelve sons of Jacob and they became known as the tribes of Israel.
But since Ephraim and Manasseh represent Joseph, there were in reality
               13 tribes.)

The Bible and history makes clear who
the modern descendants of the birth-
right tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh
are, and why they are so blessed today
-- not because of any righteousness on
their part (of which there is little, if any),
but because of YEHOVAH God’s prom-
ises to their faithful forefathers, Abra-
ham, Isaac, and Jacob. Many assume
the birthright tribes are the Jews. But
the Jews of today descend, in the main
               part, from the non-Semitic Khazars

century A.D. The true “Jews” (those
               descended from Judah) migrated with
the other tribes through Europe to set-
tle the British Isles and eventually
spread to North America and the British
